The Rules Manual contains the official event rules and is free for all students and coaches to download.
Official Rules Clarifications allow participants, coaches, Event Supervisors, and volunteers to get answers for specific clarifying questions about each year's rules. While originating at the national level, these Official Rules Clarifications and Rules Corrections apply to all states and tournaments.
Official Rules Corrections are issued to correct the rules in the Science Olympiad Rules Manuals. As with the Rules Clarifications, these corrections apply to all states and tournaments.
